meteorologist kari hall watching all of that. >> sweltering heat today. to stay cool, especially for the inland valleys. when temperatures top out over 100 degrees and stays there for several hours you'll have to find something to do, pool, heading to somewhere where the ac is blasting in public areas. una heat advisory until 9:00 for all of the areas in red. that continues until this evening, and then the temperatures come down, and it is looking better for tomorrow and the next several days. but if we can make it through today, when temperatures reach 107 degrees today in gilroy, burlingame, 79 degrees. one of the cool spots, ocean beach, 64 today. the mission district reaches into the lower 80s. napa today, 97 degrees. and oakland, 82 degrees. and livermore, once again, reaching over 100 degrees, reaching 109 today. i think the humidity will be a little bit higher, so that will make it feel worse than it did yesterday. now the heat breaks for the end of the week. i'll talk more about that coming up in the next microclimate forecast. a look at roads wit

meteorologist kari hall, it's going to get pretty hot. >> it will. and the weather conditions have been favorable the last couple of days for them to try to get that wildfire under control but now we are getting ready for a shift in the wind, coming from the south to the east at 6 miles an hour but into the afternoon the winds will gust from the northwest at 15 to 20 miles an hour and the temperature now at 58 degrees and the humidity at 59%. when the wind shifts that may turn the fire in a different direction and also with those temperatures going up that may cause another issue. humidity this afternoon will be at 15% and overnight back up to about 45% with temperatures today in the mid 80s. by the middle of the week it could be climbing to near 100 degrees in that area. so is that will make conditions very difficult. i will let you know what the rest of the bay area can expect as far as the microclimate forecast. that's coming up in about four minutes. >>> in the meantime cooler weather this weekend actually helped fire crews battling a fire near l
